In the afternoon of May 19th, CPPCC Standing Committee Member, China National Democratic Construction Association’s Vice Chairman, Shanghai Municipal CPPCC Committee’s Vice Chairman, China National Democratic Construction Association Shanghai Committee’s Co-Chairman Zhou Hanmin visited DOBE to instruct work. DOBE Group President Jia Bo accompanied the visitors throughout the visit.
As a law professor, doctoral supervisor, and an honorary Doctor of Laws of Liverpool University of Britain, Zhou Hanmin also holds the posts of President of Shanghai Academy of Socialism, Director of the Association of Vocational Education of Shanghai, Vice Chairman of Shanghai Public Diplomacy Association, Vice Chairman of Shanghai Outstanding Youth Association, Member of China Agenda Council of the Global Agenda Council of World Economic Forum. He once held the posts of Vice President of Shanghai University of International Business and Economics and Dean of the university’s Law School, Deputy Head of Pudong New District of Shanghai, Deputy Director of Shanghai EXPO Application Office, and Deputy Director General of Shanghai EXPO Coordination Bureau.
During the visit, Mr. Zhou showed great interest in and high appreciation to DOBE E-Manor’s garden design and cultural connotation originated from The Book of Changes. He also expressed recognition of dianpin.com and other rising enterprises.
Mr. Zhou affirmed DOBE Group’s contributions to developing cultural and creative industry, relieving employment pressure, improving community environment, and other aspects, and thought DOBE was an enterprise with the sense of social responsibility. He agreed with DOBE’s idea of “being a service provider for cultural and creative enterprises”, hoping DOBE could play the role of pace maker, promote the concentration of cultural and creative enterprises, and facilitate the development of cultural and creative industry.
